OBJECTIVE:  Responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Learning 资源 Center (LRC); providing audio-visual (AV) support services as needed in the classroom for students and 教师, and providing AV support for campus events, 会议, 会议, 研讨会, and other related activities.

• Manages and supports the maintenance of the latest media equipment, integration of audio-visual and computer services, and requests and concerns for audio-visual services from students, 教师, 和工作人员.
• Coordinates on-campus special events and ensures their success by serving as liaison between the LRC and other departments.
• Recommends and trains 教师 和工作人员 on the latest media, to enhance their ability to collaborate and share information, and to operate equipment relative to their discipline or need.
• Assists 教师 in converting 讲座 to digital format for electronic delivery and online courses/programs.
• Ensures availability of functional equipment, and performs proper setup of all audio-visual and computer equipment campus wide to support classrooms, 讲座, and other activities.
• Assists 信息 Technology (IT) with daily operation needs such as classroom support, and collaborative projects.
• Capture presentations, 研讨会, and various related activities conducted on campus to facilitate electronic access by 教师 and students.
• Maintains front desk service to students, 教师, 和工作人员 with audio-visual support, and facilitates the check-in/check-out of various audio-visual and computer equipment.
• Informs 教师 and students of available new media and technology.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the audio-visual area, classrooms, and equipment storage area.
• Adheres to Professional Development Plan (PDP) to ensure an increase in knowledge relative to audio-visual technology.
• Manages work study students with daily audio-visual operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

教育: Associate's degree from an accredited college. Training in computers or technology.  Preferred Bachelor of Arts degree in Audio and Video Production.

经验: Five years (5) equivalent work experience in audiovisual techniques is required.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Proficient with audio-visual equipment such as projectors, 数码相机, 摄像机, 音频混合器, 麦克风, 进行录像, 编辑, and video capture equipment.
• Ability to lift, transport and assemble audio/visual equipment.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with co-workers and LRC users.
• Knowledge of standard Mac and IBM software applications
• Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills, and experience working in a team-oriented environment.
• Audio-visual certification is a plus.
• Able to work weekdays, and some weekends and evening hours.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTACT WITH OTHERS:

Work as part of a team to accomplish LRC activities.  Work closely with the LRC Manager in establishing flexible work hours for work-study audio-visual duties.

PERCENTAGE OF TIME ALLOCATION:

1.0 FTE (100% Title III)
